HOWARD COUNTY, TX — On June 27th, 2024, Tenor Williford was indicted for Murder by the Howard County Grand Jury.
According to a press release from the Big Spring Police Department, officers responded to an assault that occurred at the DK convenience store located at 1801 S. Gregg. The victim was identified as Kelleigh Smith, White/Male 41 years of age. Smith informed officers that Tenor Williford, White/Male 20 years of age at the time, had assaulted him with a blunt object outside of a residence in the 1600 block of S. Main. Medical personnel were called to the DK though Smith refused treatment at this time. He later responded to Scenic Mountain Medical Center requesting treatment and was transferred to UMC Lubbock for his injuries sustained. On April 26th, 2024, Smith was reported to have succumbed to his injuries.

Others indicted include: Aaron Joseph Enriguez for Prohibited Substance/Item in Correctional Facility; Mark Lee Fain for Bribery and Evading Arrest/Vehicle; and Aaron Cole Mussett for three counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Find a full list of indictments here:
