BIG SPRING – October is Depression Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about depression—a common yet treatable mental health condition—and to encourage individuals who may be struggling to seek help. West Texas Centers is pleased to offer free, confidential depression screenings at our 15 mental health clinics throughout October.
Details of the Screenings:
– When: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
– Where: Locations across West Texas (addresses provided below)
– Cost: All screenings are provided at no charge and are confidential
– Special Option: On October 20th, screenings will also be available by phone for those who prefer a remote option. Call 432-935-0044 to schedule.
Depression can affect people of all ages and backgrounds, impacting daily functioning, relationships, and overall well-being. Early screening and access to treatment can lead to better outcomes. “Your health is important, and help is just a message or call away,” said Rodney Jones, CEO of West Texas Centers.

– For a screening by telephone, you can call 432-935-0044 on October 20th to schedule or ask about the telephone option.
