BIG SPRING, TX — On Friday, April 12th the BSHS Varsity Girls track team competed at the District 5 & 6 Area Track meet that was held in Abilene. Overall the Team Finished in 6th place.
The following athletes qualified for the 4A Region 1 Meet in Lubbock that will be held on Friday, 4/19 and Saturday, 4/20:
Bergan Pinkley – 3rd place in 800 M run, 4th place in 400 M Dash
Dorcas Jones – 2nd place in 400 M Dash
Alexa Mehan – 3rd place in 100 M Hurdles (PR)
4×400 M relay (Bergan Pinkley, Aly De La Cruz, Luna Jimenez, Dorcas Jones, alt – Aracelee Alvardo) – 3rd place (PR)
Natalia Pedraza – Pole Vault (PR)
