If your 2024 resolution has been to pick up a hobby, there are a couple of opportunities in Big Spring that can give your creativity a chance to shine.
Valentine’s Box Decorating Contest
There is a Valentine’s Box Decorating Contest going on now at the Heritage Museum. The public is invited to decorate a Valentine’s Box and submit it to them by Feb. 1st. Guests of the museum will vote for their favorite boxes from Feb. 1st through Feb. 10th. Along with them, a museum board member and a member of the Big Spring Art Association will judge the boxes to announce a winner on Feb. 13th.
Submissions can be dropped off at 510 Scurry St. in Big Spring. For more information, contact Michell at 432-267-8255.
