HOWARD COUNTY, TX — Big Spring and Howard County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in a couple of cases.
The first is for help with locating and identifying Theft of Property- Vehicle Parts or Accessories suspects. On Tuesday May 30th, 2023, at approximately 8:35 A.M., deputies with the Howard County Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to the 9400 Block of the Interstate 20 South Service Road in reference to a theft of vehicle parts. Deputies learned that unknown actors unlawfully appropriated 3 catalytic converters from 3 vehicles belonging to a business. The surveillance cameras at the business captured video of a suspect committing the theft. Investigators believe this suspect is responsible for other catalytic converter thefts in the Coahoma area.

The second case is in reference to the burglary of vehicles in the 1000 block of Buena Vista Road on June 4, 2023. Deputies obtained videos of the incident where the suspect(s) and the suspect(s) vehicle are shown. Please reference case # 23-0642 in your tip.
