BIG SPRING, TX — The Dark Maze of Nightmares, a haunted house coordinated by the SMMC Cancer Crushers Relay for Life team, makes a return after a 2-year hiatus. Andrea Galvan, with the Cancer Crushers, told KBest News that they had to take a break in running the haunted house due to the COVID-19 pandemic to protect their customers and workers. Since making the decision to reopen, she said volunteers have been working in there every day this month.
Beginning tonight, visitors can walk through the haunted house. Although the walk-through can be frightening, none of the actors will touch visitors and visitors are not allowed to touch the actors.
The Dark Maze of Nightmares is located at 1901 Simler Rd., and open 7:30 – 11 pm tonight and tomorrow, next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 28-29, and on Halloween, Oct. 31st, 7:30-9 pm. Admission is $15 per person, and money raised will go to the American Cancer Society.
