BIG SPRING, TX — AARP Tax-Aide is offering free income tax preparation every Monday through April 4, 2022, from 8 am to 12 pm at the Big Spring Senior Citizen’s Center. This service is available to all taxpayers with moderate to low income. The service will be a low contact drop-off with pick-up the following Monday. COVID protocols will be observed, such as the requirement of masks. Appointments are required and can be made at bsta.Setmore.com or on-site on Monday mornings. No children will be allowed to enter.
Taxpayers need to bring the following items to their appointment: a photo ID for the taxpayer and/or spouse, social security card for everyone on the tax return, w-2’s and all other proof of income received in 2021. Free electronic filing (e-filing) will be available for faster refunds.
