BIG SPRING, TX — As the Friday night lights return, varsity player Jacobi Lozano enters his senior year as one of the most versatile players on the Big Spring Steers football team. Lozano makes his presence felt on both sides of the ball, playing key roles on offense and defense. As a senior in his 3rd year on varsity, he is poised to lead the Steers with heart and a relentless drive to win.
“The way I help out the team is [that] I push all my teammates to be better, and they always count on me when they need something to be done,” said Lozano.
When asked about the Steers’ goals for this year, Lozano said, “Our goal for this year is to win a gold ball and bring home a district championship.”
For Jacobi Lozano, senior year isn’t just about playing football-its about finishing strong and leaving behind a legacy of talent, leadership and total commitment to the game.
