BIG SPRING, TX — After urging the community to come together to donate funds for this year’s the Pops in the Park event, the 28th annual community event is officially set to move forward for July 3rd but the recent rainy weather brings concerns.
At this time, the Pops in the Park committee has advised that the show will continue as planned unless severe weather prevents it. The schedule for tomorrow’s event is as follows:
7:55 PM – Welcome & Opening Ceremony
8:05 PM – Presentation of Colors
8:15 PM – Flyover & Salute to Armed Forces
8:30 PM – Symphony and Chorus program begins
9:15 PM – Intermission
9:35 PM – Fireworks and Symphony program begins
