FORSAN, TX — Forsan High School has announced the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of 2025.
The Valedictorian is Chance Leonardi and Salutatorian is Ethan Buske.
Salutatorian Ethan Buske is the son of Pete and Mandy Buske.
During his high school career he was part of the varsity football team, involved in track and field competing in shot put and discus, high school band, a member of the National Honor Society, and academic UIL – math and number sense.
After high school, Buske is planning to attend Howard College and then transfer to Texas Tech University. His plan is to major in Pre-Med and pursue a degree in kinesiology while at Texas Tech.
Valedictorian Chance Leonardi is the son of Joel and Kathy Leonardi.
During his school career, he was involved in UIL One Act Play, UIL Cross Examination Debate which he competed in at the state level for three years, UIL Spelling and vocabulary which he also competed at the state level for several years in, UIL Marching Band and UIL Solo and Ensemble, both of which he competed at the state level. He was also inducted into the National Honor Society where he served as the chairman of community services. His favorite subject was anatomy and physiology.
After graduation, Leonardi plans to attend Texas Tech University Honors College to pursue a degree in biology. From there he plans on attending the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine where he plans to earn his M.D. and go on to practice medicine as an oncologist.
Forsan High School’s graduation ceremony will take place at the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum at 6 p.m. May 23.
