The Big Spring Jr. High Lady Steer Powerlifters competed in a home meet this week. The team had lifters placing in the top 3 for the Light Platform and Heavy Platform.
Light Platform:
* 1st Place- Mallory Lozano, lifting a total of 460 lbs.
* 2nd Place- Ida Mae Maumau, lifting a total of 450 lbs.
* 3rd Place- Evony Moreno, lifting a total of 420 lbs.
Heavy Platform:
* 1st Place-Valori Mize, who lifted a total of 455 lbs.
* 2nd Place-Maryjane Arenivar, who lifted a total of 420 lbs.
* 3rd Place-Makayla Austin & Avery Woods, who both tied, lifting a total of 415 lbs.
