If you are looking for an opportunity to step in and help children in the foster care system or kiddos from a hard place, CASA is where you need to be. A CASA or Court Appointed Special Advocate is a volunteer appointed by a judge to walk alongside children in the foster care system. There will be a free training class that will teach you how to be the voice of the children. This class will take place on Thursday, January 30th at 1811 Scurry St in Big Spring from 12pm – 1pm. Lunch will be provided along with skills and knowledge to help you help kids in need. For more information, contact Ariel Sanchez at 432-683-1114.
