Congratulations to Howard College’s Women’s Head Basketball Coach, Al Davis for getting his 100th career victory earlier this month! On November 16th, the Lady Hawks took to the road for a matchup against Western Oklahoma State and they were victorious, winning 85-66. Thus, Coach Davis got win number 100. The next game for the Lady Hawks is Monday, Dec. 2nd, at home against Coastal Bend College at 5:45 PM.
The next home game for the Men’s team will be this Saturday, Nov. 30th, at the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum against Grayson College at 2 PM.
In high school basketball, the district season for the Coahoma Bulldogettes will begin on Tuesday, Dec. 3rd, with the varsity team playing at 6:15 PM against Odessa Compass Academy at home. The boys team will host Forsan at 7:30 PM but it will not be a district game.
The Forsan Lady Buffs will begin their district season on Dec. 10th with a home game against Reagan County. The Forsan and Coahoma boys teams will begin playing district games later in the month of December and Big Spring Steers and Lady Steers will being their district games in January 2025.
