BIG SPRING, TX — On Tuesday morning, the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Lowe’s Market, located at 501 Birdwell in Big Spring.
Store Manager Lisa Olivares told KBest News that she was happy to see the turnout for the ribbon cutting and was excited to join as a Chamber member.
“I’m glad that we’re joining and trying to make a difference, you know, with the community and wanting the community to come into the store and shop with us,” said Olivares.
She advised that the store releases a new weekly ad every Wednesday with great deals. These ads can be found at the store entrance and on their Lowe’s Market app. She went on to say that Lowe’s Market is friendly and they are ready to help the community.
Lowe’s Market has been serving Big Spring since December 1, 2023, after the store was purchased from Porter’s Grocery Stores. Olivares said, hopefully, shoppers will stop in, check out their ads and give them a chance.
