BIG SPRING, TX — Inclement weather on Friday night resulted in the football game between the Big Spring Steers and the El Paso Riverside Rangers to be rescheduled for Saturday morning at Memorial Stadium. The El Paso Riverside team stayed overnight in Big Spring and admission on Saturday morning was free.
The first game of the season for the Steers ended with a final score of 49 – 21 in favor of the El Paso Riverside Rangers.
The Players of the Game are as follows:
Sonic Offensive Player of the Game – AJ Yanez
Sonic Defensive Player of the Game – Zadrian Washington
Big Hit of the Game – Lyndon Fraley
