BIG SPRING, TX — Last week, the State National Bank at 901 Main in Big Spring celebrated 115 years of being open and 100 years as a national bank with an open house and ribbon cutting with the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce.
Justin Myers, President of State National Bank, said that the event went well and they were happy to celebrate with their customers and the community.
“Even from the very beginning, the bank management and our board Directors have kind of had one mission, and, ultimately, that is to first and foremost keep our customers’ hard earned deposits safe and secure. That’s always been kind of priority number one. Earnings and making money is important but it really sets behind keeping our customers money safe and secure,” said Myers.
He went on to say that their staff has been an important part in helping them to serve their customers. He stated that it’s the front line staff like tellers and bookkeeping that have the most interaction with customers.
