BIG SPRING, TX — The 25th annual Silver Wings Ball was recently held in Big Spring at Texas Forever on Feb. 24th.
“We sold twice as many tickets as we did last year because we have outgrown venues! So, it was out at Texas Forever. It was a beautiful venue. A lot of people hadn’t seen it yet, so they got a chance to come inside and see it,” said Tabitha Clark, committee member for the Silver Wings Ball.
In addition to dinner and casino games, attendees also were able to participate in live and silent auctions. Live auction items included an autographed Patrick Mahomes jersey, multiple handguns, and a French Bulldog along with other items. According to the Silver Wings Ball Committee, the event was able to raise $30,350 for Hangar 25 Air Museum. This money will help fund the museum’s operational costs throughout the year.
