BIG SPRING, TX — Big Spring ISD Board of Trustees will meet for a regular meeting tomorrow, August 10th, at the High School Board Room, located at 707 E. 11th Place in Big Spring.
Report items on this agenda include the Career & Technical Education and Supplemental Instructional Supplies and Equipment Bid Report, and a partnership with Martin County Family Clinic for a School-Based Health Clinic.
Action items will include reaffirming the Code of Ethics for Board of Trustees – Policy, approving a Delegate to the TASB Delegate Assembly, consider approval of Student Code of Conduct 2023-2024. Board members will also consider the approval of the Sale of Tax Properties by Texas Communities Group, consider the approval of various donations, and consider the approval of a resolution to enter into an interlocal agreement with Education Service Center, Region 6.
The agenda also includes deliberation and possible action to adopt a proposed tax rate based on Certified Taxable Values for Truth in Taxation Publication.
