BIG SPRING, TX — The Big Spring Art Association had its annual Area Wide Art Show that ran through the month of May at the Heritage Museum. Over 30 entries were submitted for this year for the ten categories that were open.
Those winning their respective categories are as follows:
Acrylic – “Woven” by Kandis Wilkinson
Mixed Media – “Country Home Revisited” by Linda Rupard, which was also voted Best of Show.
Watercolor – “Illuminated Iris” by Kay Smith
3-D Art – “I do believe in Faries” by Saffron Pierson
Miniatures – “Tulip Frolic” by Kay Smith
Pencils & Pen – “Frankenstein Boris Karloff” by Beth Henry
Photography – “High on a Desert Plain” by Courtney Logan
Oils – “A Study on Vemeer” by Renee Thomas
Youth 7-12 – “Beeby” by Logan Thomas
Juniors 13-17 – “250” by Caleb Brown
