BIG SPRING, TX — The 89th annual Big Spring Cowboy Reunion & Rodeo begins a three night run on Thursday, June 15th, and runs through Saturday, the 17th, at the Surge Energy rodeo bowl, located near the intersection of FM 700 & Business 20 West.
Gates and concessions open at 7 PM. Grand entry begins at 8 PM with renowned announcer Anthony Lucia calling the action.
Carr Pro Rodeo brings NFR qualifying stock and produces the Rodeo. Entertainers for this year’s event include Bullfighter Matt Merritt, known as the “Dancin’ Clown” and Jessica Blair, NFR trick rider famous for her Flaming Roman Ride, sponsored by Partee Drilling.
Texas Country music artist Josh Ward will perform on Friday night and Pat Green will perform on Saturday, courtesy of Franklin and Son.
Registration for the Mutton Busting event is going on now. Fee for Mutton Busting is $40 per child. To register, call: 432-213-6177.
Plus, you can also register to participate in the annual Quail Dobbs Memorial Parade, which will be held on Saturday, June 17th, at 10 AM in downtown Big Spring. Register for the parade by emailing mark@kbst.com.
