BIG SPRING, TX — On Monday afternoon, the Howard County Commissioners Court recognized outstanding male and female students from high schools in the county. Those recognized were as follows:
Big Spring High School
– Marco Tan, Valedictorian
– Ananya Limaye, Salutatorian
Limaye will be attending Angelo State University and plans on studying medicine. Tan has received a full ride scholarship to Rice University. He’ll be studying Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics, and hopes to obtain a PhD.

Coahoma High School
– Zoie Joslin, Salutatorian
– Kayden Kelley
Joslin will be attending Texas A&M University to study Sports Management and wants to become a teacher. Kelley will attend Western Texas College for the welding program.

Forsan High School
– Joanna Gato, Valedictorian
– Charles Huff, Salutatorian
Gato will attend Angelo State University and will study nursing. Huff will attend Texas Tech and plans to pursue a Bachelor’s of Science and Honors Society in Humanities and concentration in Medicine and Global Health. He plans to later become an Emergency Medicine Physician.
