BIG SPRING, TX — On Tuesday morning, the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce held a “Thank You for Your Investment” presentation for First Church of the Nazarene, located at 1400 Lancaster in Big Spring.
Peter Sullivan, interim pastor at the Nazarene Church, told KBest News that he appreciated the Chamber’s presentation.
“It’s good to have support and work together to collaborate, for each of us to know each other in the community, and I think it just encourages us to support each other,” said Sullivan.
First Church of the Nazarene will have their 1st annual Easter Story Hunt. This scavenger hunt will dive into stories that led to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The whole family is welcome to join in on the fun this Saturday, April 8th, form 2-4 PM. Sullivan explained that the hunt was a time for families to come together and learn the true meaning of Easter as they find different clues. At the end there will be a goody bag for the kids and the families. On Easter, the next day, they’ll have prayer time at 8 AM, Empty Tomb, at 1400 S. Lancaster, and breakfast from 8:30 – 9:30 AM and Easter service at 10 AM.
Currently, First Church of the Nazarene is between pastors. Sullivan is filling in as an interim and they are looking and praying about the next pastor.
