NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS, THAT:
The City of Big Spring, Texas proposes to institute annexation proceedings to enlarge and extend the boundary limits of said city to include the following described territory, to-wit:
Approximately a 127 -acre tract of land located within the T&P RR Co Survey Howard County, Texas Survey, Abstract No. A-362, contiguous and adjacent to the City of Big Spring, Howard County, Texas, and as more particularly described and depicted as follows:
One 65.77-acre tract of land and one 61.81-acre tract of land, all out of the Northeast Quarter (NE/4) of Section 9, Block 33, T-1-S, T&P RR. Co. Survey, Howard County, Texas, and more particularly described within the Special Warranty Deed recorded on May 13, 2024, in Volume 2226, Pages 682-687, of the official real property records of Howard County, Texas.
A public hearing will be held by and before the City Council of the City of Big Spring, Texas on the 22nd day of July, 2025 at 5:30 p.m. in the City of Big Spring Council Chambers at 307 E 4th St., Big Spring, Texas 79720, for all persons interested in the above proposed annexation. At said time and place all such persons shall have the right to appear and be heard. Of all said matters and things, all persons interested in the things and matters herein mentioned, will take notice.
