AUSTIN, TX — Coahoma Bulldogettes won the UIL 3A D2 Softball State Championship with a final score of 6-1. This is the 3rd consecutive State Championship that Coahoma has won, and the 4th consecutive year that they’ve played in the state championship game. Coahoma Bulldogettes are the first team in the State of Texas to win 3 times. Coahoma ends the season with a record of 35-1.
Pitcher Hannah Wells was selected as the MVP of the State Championship Game. She’s been the starting pitcher for the past 4 years, and helped to lead the Bulldogettes to 91 consecutive wins.
