From Greater Texas Ford Dealers:
“Hannah Wells, a senior standout from Coahoma High School and University of Texas signee, has cemented her legacy as one of the most dominant players in Texas high school softball. Recently named the 2024 Texas Sports Writers Association Co-Class 3A Softball State Player of the Year, Wells has led the Bulldogettes to back-to-back state titles and an undefeated 28-0 record this season as they chase a third. In the circle, she has been nearly untouchable with a perfect 15-0 record and an astonishing 0.48 ERA—following up an equally flawless junior year where she went 20-0. Offensively, she’s just as unstoppable, boasting a .627 batting average with 63 RBIs, 13 doubles, and an eye-popping 24 home runs. A true two-way phenom, Wells has been the driving force behind Coahoma’s continued dominance and will undoubtedly be exciting to watch at the next level in burnt orange. Hannah has earned the Class 3A Greater Texas Ford Dealers – Female Athlete of the Month.”
