HOWARD COUNTY, TX — Tomorrow is Election Day for City and School Elections. As of the final day of early voting, which was Tuesday, April 29th, there had been 11 Ballots by Mail returned, and a total of 404 people who voted in person. Of the 11,825 registered eligible voters in the area, this is a 4% turnout.
The following county-wide polling locations on Election Day will be open from 7 am – 7 pm:
- Ryan Hall/St. Thomas Church, 605 N Main
- Sand Springs Baptist Church, 201 E. 24th St.
- Dorothy Garrett Coliseum, 1001 Birdwell Ln.
- Coahoma Community Center, 306 North Avenue in Coahoma.
Note no voting will be at the Elections Center of Howard County nor at the Howard County Courthouse. All candidates, friends and family, entity representatives, and the public are welcome to come to the Election Center after 6:30 on tomorrow Night to wait for the results.
They will be releasing Early Voting/BBM totals when all locations are closed and the last voter is done. Once all locations have been checked in, the Elections Center will release the final Election Day totals.
Please note that these results are NOT official until the entities canvas the votes on or before May 14, 2025.
