COAHOMA, Texas — Hannah Wells crushed a home run to seal a walk-off win for the Coahoma Bulldogettes over Brownfield on Tuesday night. Coahoma won 15-0 in five innings.
Wells finished the game with three hits in four at-bats, three runs scored, four RBI, a double, and two home runs. She also threw a one-hitter and struck out 12 batters.
Mia Clemmer was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, one RBI, and a home run. Addi Hart contributed by going 2-for-3 at bat with a double, and a triple. Bree Lewis recorded one hit in three at-bats, one run scored, two RBI and blasted a home run.
Nevaeh Kerby was 2-for-3 with one run scored, and one stolen base. Avery Rodriguez finished with two hits in two at-bats and a double. Baylor Wright and Kaedyn Lee had one stolen base each.
Before the game, the Bulldogettes varsity softball team honored their six seniors: Nevaeh Kerby, Kaedyn Lee, Avery Rodriguez, Hannah Wells, Baylor Wright, and Mikaela Vasquez.
In sub-varsity action, the JV softball team dominated Brownfield, 12-0.
Next: Coahoma (10-0, 23-0) travels to Denver City for a district game on Saturday. The first pitch is at noon.
