PENWELL, TX – Today, at approximately 9:00 AM, a fatal crash occurred in Penwell, TX, approximately 15 miles west of Odessa, TX.
A Union Pacific train struck a pickup truck at the crossing of Ave G. Due to the collision, the pickup truck caught fire. There was no train derailment, and Union Pacific has been notified. First responders were on the scene, and this crash remains under investigation. No further information is available at this time.
