BIG SPRING, TX – Golfers and community members alike are gearing up for the Mansfield-Wrightsil Scholarship Award Golf Tournament, set to take place on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Comanche Trail Golf Course in Big Spring, TX. The tournament aims to raise funds for local scholarships while bringing people together for a fun-filled day on the green.
The event follows a scramble format, with prizes awarded to the top three teams. Check-in starts at 7:00 AM, with a shotgun start at 8:30 AM. Single-player registration is $125, with foursomes assigned at the course. Registration will be conducted onsite.
Beyond the competition, attendees can look forward to a BBQ lunch catered by Bryce Green, featuring “all the fixin’s.” A lunchtime live auction with auctioneer Bert Otto, will also take place, offering incredible items such as a hunting trip with Desert Horn Safari, a round of golf with Super Bowl champion Bubba Franks, a golf package for four at Comanche Trail Golf Course, and jewelry from The Karat Patch.
Even non-golfers can get in on the action—auction and lunch tickets are available for $12 per plate.
