BIG SPRING, TX – Friends of Historic Downtown Big Spring is thrilled to invite the community to an unforgettable Cinco de Mayo celebration on Saturday, May 3, 2025. This festive event will take place in the heart of historic downtown Big Spring and will feature live music, delicious food, and family-friendly entertainment.
Headlining the celebration are renowned artists Stefani Montiel, Grupo Entrego, La Anarquia, and Zuperado, bringing vibrant energy to the stage. Guests will enjoy a day filled with cultural festivities and a community-focused atmosphere celebrating the rich heritage of Cinco de Mayo.
Founded by Mundy and Lupita Weeks, Friends of Historic Downtown Big Spring was born out of a deep passion for revitalizing the area. After moving to Big Spring for their construction and pipeline company, STRYDER, they saw immense potential in downtown Big Spring and sought to restore its historic charm. With the support of several other dedicated community members, they established a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to develop an entertainment and shopping district that fosters local business growth and cultural engagement.
