The Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center’s Scholarship Committee is now accepting applications for scholarships for high school seniors pursuing careers in healthcare. This scholarship is open to students who reside in Howard, Glasscock, Borden, Scurry, Sterling, Mitchell, Martin, or Dawson counties.
Ten scholarships are available in the amount of $2,500 per recipient.
Eligibility Requirements are as follows:
- Must be a current high school senior.
- Must reside in one of the listed counties.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 (80 average) for the first 3.5 years of high school.
- Must submit a completed application by March 31st to:
- Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center, Attention: Scholarship Committee
- 306 W 3rd Street, Big Spring, TX 79720
- Must provide a copy of high school transcript.
- Must enroll in a college, university, or technical school for the fall semester after graduation with a minimum of 12 credit hours.
How to Apply:
- Complete the application form and submit by March 31, 2025.
- Include a one-page essay on “What has inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare.”
