BIG SPRING, TX — Tickets are available now in Big Spring for the 19th Annual Cars and Stars set for April 5, 2025. It is presented by the Big Spring State Hospital Volunteer Services Council. This year’s theme is Havana Nights and will include a best dressed award, Havana cigars, specialty cocktails for the evening, live music from Big City Outlaws and AC/ZC, a silent auction, and casino games. It will also include meal options from 7 food trucks to choose from.
Tickets are on sale now for $100 each and includes admission for two people, 1 entry into the reverse drawing, $1,000 in casino cash, and two drink tickets*. This year the winner will not be pre-selected vehicles to choose from, instead they’ll receive a $40,000 voucher to go toward the vehicle of their choice from any of the following local dealerships: Star Dodge, Star Ford, Shroyer GMC, Pollard Chevrolet, and including antique or classic cars from Circle H Auto in Coahoma.
Tickets can be purchased from Faye’s Flowers, Carver Drug, Big Mike’s Farm Store, The Chalet, and any board member. Money raised from this annual event benefits the BSSH Volunteer Service Council, which has been around for over 40 years. It’s a non-profit organization that helps to support the needs of the patients at the state hospital. Their number one means of community support is The Chalet, a donation-based boutique, located at 115 E. 2nd St., It provides clothing, household goods, blankets, shoes, and more at prices that everyone can afford.
* – Previously noted that a ticket would include dinner for two, but that was incorrect.
