BIG SPRING, TX — A 19-year-old man from Snyder was killed in a 1-vehicle crash in Scurry County early on Thursday morning.
DPS Troopers responded to the scene at Brick Plant Road, approximately one-quarter mile North of State Highway 208 at 3:43 AM on March 13, 2025. The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1995 Ford F-150 pickup truck, driven by Norberto Cardona Cruz, 19 years of age, male from Snyder, Texas, was traveling north on Brick Plant Rd. Cruz lost control of the vehicle and drove off the roadway to the west, spinning around and striking a telephone pole. Cruz was ejected from the vehicle and was not wearing a seatbelt. He did not survive the crash.
