BIG SPRING, TX — This Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, a bowling tournament and live auction will be held at Bowl-A-Rama later this month to raise money for 18-year-old Brynn Rodgers, a local Howard College student in need of a kidney transplant. Rodgers, a Coahoma High School graduate, has been battling an autoimmune disease called Henock-Schonlean Purpura, a disorder that causes the small blood vessels in your skin, joints, intestines and kidneys to become inflamed and bleed.
The bowling tournament will be on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025 at 12 PM. Teams can register for $80. They’ll play 3 games of doubles. Cash payouts will be available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Around 2-3 PM there will be a live auction. Anyone wanting to make a donation to the event fundraiser can do so by contacting Sally Grant, event organizer, at 432-466-1306.
