On the 31st of December 2024 at approximately 9:05 AM, Big Spring Police Department officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Benton Street in reference to shots being fired at a residence. Upon arrival and during the preliminary investigation it was determined that multiple suspects occupied a Black in color Cadillac 4 door passenger car and had already departed the area. The Big Spring Police Department Criminal Investigations Division was notified to assist, along with the Howard County Sheriff’s Office. A suspect vehicle was determined and known to officers and detectives to frequent the 2600 block of Dow St. at which time officers responded locating the Black in color Cadillac and 4 suspects standing around the vehicle. Officers ordered the subjects down at gunpoint taking two into custody while two others ran from the scene. Zackery Isah Rodriguez Hispanic/Male 17 years of age and Chris Delbosquez Hispanic/Male 18 years of age have both been charged with the Deadly Conduct, Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon. The Big Spring Police Department are seeking warrants for the other two individuals.
