BIG SPRING, TX – Howard County 4-H will have a kick off event on Saturday, Aug 24th, at 1:30 PM at the G.C. Broughton AG Complex on the Howard College campus in Big Spring. Local families are invited to join them to find more information about participating in the program. 4-H is a club for ages 8 – 18 in grades 3rd through 12th. Youth can join 4-H for $25 each and they’ll select a project to participate in.
Categories include agriculture and livestock, family and community health, leadership and citizenship, natural resources, and STEM. Plus, community service, leadership, and scholarship opportunities are also included in the offerings of this program.
The 4-H year officially begins Sept. 1st.
