BIG SPRING, TX — The Howard College Hawks Rodeo team will kick off their fall season next month. The Hawks have 10 rodeos throughout the year – 5 in fall and 5 in spring. The Hawks only have 1 home rodeo per year that is in April.
The Hawk Rodeo team competes against junior colleges and universities in the Southwest Region, the largest region in the United States with the most elite rodeo athletes. The team is led by Justin Jenkins, Hawk Rodeo Head Coach, and John Sharp, Assistant Coach.
The season for Hawk Rodeo begins on Sept. 19-21 at Portales, NM at Eastern New Mexico University.
