Beth Henry, graduate of the 41st Leadership Group with more on what she learned from this experience.
“Something that leadership taught me was the power of a group of people when they are like-minded and what they want to do and we had so many people donating either materials time financially and it was amazing to see how just a little bit went so long to really clean up this park,” said Henry.
The park offers plenty of amusement with a brand new jungle gym and covered tables to take a break in the shade. Henry also stated they send their utmost gratitude to the Big Spring City Parks Department for their help, hard work, and continued support.
