BIG SPRING, TX — During last night’s Big Spring City Council meeting, an agreement was approved with Playground Solutions for an all-ages, all activities playground recommended by the Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center Board of Directors. The DRRC Board of Directors donated $750,000 for the project. The all ages, all activities playground will be at the Comanche Trail Park.
The city will take full responsibility for upkeep and maintenance for this equipment. There will also be some additional costs for the city that will involve leveling the area and adding sidewalk and restrooms. That information will be brought before the council at a later date.
