Community Leaders to gather at Courthouse for National Day of Prayer on May 2nd

BIG SPRING, TX — National Day of Prayer is traditionally the first Thursday in May. This year, community leaders of Big Spring and Howard County will gather on Thursday, May 2nd outside of the Howard County Courthouse, on the east side, from 12:15 -12:45 PM to celebrate National Day of Prayer. 

According to Pastor Sam Segundo, event organizer, this will be a 30-minute session of prayer. There will be 12 community leaders to pray over different aspects of life, the city, the state, and the nation. This will not be promoting any religion, church, or denomination. It will only be promoting prayer for our country.

Sealed in Sweetness and free hotdogs will be available at the event.
