BIG SPRING, TX — Three Angels Food Pantry, located at 4319 Parkway Rd. – behind the Seventh Day Adventist Church, will hold it’s last Food Box Distribution event tomorrow, 04/26/24, from 11 AM to 1 PM while supplies last.
The local food pantry began distributing food boxes last year, and usually held the drive-thru event on the last Friday of the month. Aprille Ransom, program coordinator for the pantry, told KBest News that they will not be distributing food from May – Oct. 1, 2024 due to the extreme heat that volunteers and community members would have to face.
She advised that many had voiced their concerns about the heat and the wait, so Three Angels Food Pantry decided it was best to suspend their services during those times. Be advised this will also suspend their financial services during the same dates, as well.
Their final food distribution for the season will be Friday, 04/26/24, from 11 AM to 1 PM, while supplies last.
