BIG SPRING, TX — The 2023/2024 Final Concert from the season entitled, “The B’s Are A’Buzzin’”, will be held on April 27th at 7:30 PM at the Big Spring Municipal Auditorium. The performance title is “Beethoven, Brahms and Borodin” and the Guest Conductor is Dr. Robert Hunt. The Orchestra will perform what is probably the best known Symphony of all time – Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Fifth Symphony”, featuring the most famous 4 note theme of all time! The performance will include some of Johanes Brahms “Hungarian Dances.” The orchestra will be joined by The West Texas Symphony Chamber Chorale under the direction of Dr. Juan Hernández and the Big Spring Symphony Chorale and the Howard College Chorale under the direction of Mark Watt to perform Brahms “Schicksalslied” and Aleksandr Borodin’s “Polovetsian Dances” from Prince Igor.
Advance tickets, are on sale now at the following vendors: HEB, Heritage Museum and Karat Patch and will also be available at the door. Tickets are general admission and are $25 for Adults, $20 for Seniors 55 plus and FREE for students College and down.
