COAHOMA, TX — The Texas Tech University Color Guard will give an exhibition performance at the Howard County Indoor winter guard festival hosted by the Coahoma High School band and booster club.
The festival will feature 12 area winter guard teams from Class 3A to 6A including a team from Coahoma High School and Big Spring High School.
The event will be held at Howard College’s Dorothy Garrett Coliseum.
Admission is $6 each, and six-years-old and younger will be admitted free. The first performance begins at 10:25 a.m.
Winter Guard is an indoor competition for high school color guards performing choreographed, artful dance routines to music while using equipment such as flags, riffles, and sabers.
Proceeds from the event will go to help fund the Coahoma ISD band program.
Big Spring will compete at 12:30 p.m.
Coahoma performs at 3:10 p.m.
Texas Tech will go on at 3:20 p.m.
