NOLAN COUNTY, TX — Beginning Wednesday, Mar 13, all lanes of eastbound US 84, just east of Roscoe, and the left lane of I-20 at Roscoe, will be closed for construction of the Roscoe interchange of US 84 and I-20.
TxDOT’s contractor will be working to move a barrier to continue construction, resulting in this daytime only closure on Wednesday-Friday, Mar. 13-15. Lanes of US 84 and I-20 will reopen on Friday evening, March 15.
During this construction, the EB I-20 travel lanes will be reduced to one lane with a left lane closure from mm 236 to mm 237.
US 84 EB main lanes will be closed just east of Roscoe, where motorists will follow a marked detour to exit 236 to WB I-20, then to FM 608 where they will travel under the bridge to the south I-20 frontage road, then travel 2.5 miles to entrance ramp 239; where motorists will rejoin eastbound I-20/US 84.
After work is completed, both US 84 and I-20 eastbound will be reopened.
Motorists are asked to use caution, obey warning/speed limit signs, and avoid distractions, when driving in this area.
