HOWARD COUNTY, TX — On Feb. 21, 2024, the Howard County Grand Jury indicted 21 individuals for various crimes, two of which included a charge for Murder.
Ray Alvarado, 25, was indicted on a Murder charge, along with Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information, Credit Card Abuse, and Assault of Pregnant Person.
Michael Bullinger, 43, was indicted for Murder, Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair Human Corpse.
The date of offense for both of these Murder indictments is Dec. 15, 2023. Alvarado was arrested in December for the murder of Christopher Semmelmann, White/Male 32 years of age. According to the Howard County Sheriff’s Department Investigations Division Semmelmann was murdered in the 100 block of Jonesboro Rd. According to Howard County Sheriff Stan Parker, Bullinger’s Muder indictment is associated with Semmelmann’s death.
Also, listed in the indictments listed from Feb. 21, 2024 were Christopher Larry Carrillo for Sexual Assault/Child, and Humberto Barreto, Jr. for five offenses: Indecency w/ Child Sexual Contact, Aggravated Sexual Assault/Child, Promotion of Child Pornography, Possession of Child Pornography, and Production of Sexual Performance/Child.
