“I am honored beyond words. I really am flabbergasted. I don’t know what to say. This is something I never thought about getting. I think it would be nice for people who want to get it and work toward it. You never think about it happening it to you, really, and all of a sudden it did. I am just overwhelmed and to have my two sons here that really meant an awful lot. I love Big Spring. I’ve loved Big Spring ever since I got here in 1960 and I knew the moment that I got here that this was home, and I’ve been home ever since,” said Lewis.
