BIG SPRING, TX — The best networking event of the year will be on Thursday, Feb. 1st at the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet at the Dorothy Garrett Coliseum on the Howard College campus.
The annual chamber banquet allows Chamber members to highlight themselves, offers an opportunity to network, and is a one stop location for those who are looking to gain information on their community and discover ways to get involved.
An Alive After 5 will also take place that evening from 5:30 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. and is open to all. Debbeye Valverde, Executive Director for the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce, there will be numerous booths set up by Chamber members and it’s a great way to meet people. She went on say to say that people are encouraged to meet, greet, mingle, and find out how they can be mutually beneficial to each other either now or in the future.
Beginning at 6:45 p.m. dinner will be served. The emcee for this year’s event is Manny Negron. At 7 p.m. the passing of the gavel, the presentations for the Five Under 55 recipients, and the Russ McEwen Community Award will occur. The Man and Woman of the Year presentations will wrap up the evening.
Tickets for the banquet are $30 each and can be purchased at the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 215 W. 3rd St.
