BIG SPRING, TX — On Thursday morning, the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Alive in Christ Lutheran Church, located at 2805 Lynn Street in Big Spring.
Pastor Bobby Roever told KBest News that he was excited to join the Chamber and to have people know about them and where they are located.
“We want to be important in the community, so that people know us and want to be a part of us,” said Pastor Roever. He went on to say that Alive in Christ is a very loving church, and they encourage anyone without a church or looking for church to join them for service to see if they can make a connection.
Alive in Christ Lutheran Church has Sunday morning divine worship at 10:30 AM each Sunday morning, and a Bible study at 9:30 AM. On Wednesday nights, there is a Bible Study at 6 PM with a meal at 5:30 PM before the class.
On April 8th from 10 am to 12 pm, Alive in Christ will host an Easter Egg Extravaganza to celebrate Easter with the community. According to Pastor Roever, this will be an event for the kids that will include an Easter egg hunt, cake walk, painting and decorating cookies.
“We’d love for them to come out on that morning and celebrate the resurrection of Christ with us,” said Roever.
