ARLINGTON, TX — The Westbrook Wildcats are back-to-back 1A-DI 6-Man Football State Champions! On Wednesday afternoon they defeated Abbott with a final score of 69-24.
Westbrook’s #4 Cedric Ware earned both the Championship Game Defensive MVP and Championship Game Offensive MVP with 176 all-purpose yards, and 5 total TD. On defense he had 10 tackles and 1 TFL (tackle for loss) to garner both offensive and defensive honor.
