The Howard County Fair kicks off this week. The carnival opens at 5 pm this Thursday, September 15th, and the fair officially opens FRIDAY at 5 pm!
General Admission is $5 for everyone over 10 years old
This year’s attractions include a beer garden, over 65 indoor vendors presented by A Joyful Season, outside food vendors, ax throwing, video game trailer, goat roping, petting zoo, a kids rodeo, display of fair entries, and more.
On Friday, live entertainment includes a karaoke contest with $1,200 in cash prizes, Dueling Pianos, a 90’s Country Party with a Mullet Competition and Best Dressed. On Saturday, Black Hawk and Diamond Rio will perform. Then on Sunday, there will be a car show, a hot dog eating contest for area schools, a pet contest, and a 4-H Food Invitational Challenge.
